Patsy Wilson Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 30, 2026.
Patsy I. Wilson, 88, Marion, passed away at 3:30 am on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fries, Virginia, on Thursday, August 12, 1937, to Carlie and Rose (Williams) Noblett. On June 25, 1955, she married Charles D. Wilson.

Patsy graduated from Fries High School and Marion Community School of Practical Nursing. She worked in pediatrics at Marion General Hospital for many years.

She was a big sports fan who loved cheering on the Dodgers and the Colts. She could get wrapped up in true-crime shows just as easily as a good inspirational book. In her younger days she loved to travel, and no matter where life took her, time with family was always her favorite place to be. She was a proud member of the Church of God of Prophecy and carried her faith in a quiet, steady way. She loved classic country music, going to concerts, and hunting for treasures at thrift stores. Riding around in Alan's convertible always put a smile on her face, and she truly enjoyed having people stop by to visit. She just had a way of making everyone feel welcome.

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa (Keith) Luzader of Four Oaks, NC; sons, Alan (Robin) Wilson of Kokomo, Mark Travis (Theresa) Wilson of Marion; grandchildren, Jordan (Meghan) Luzader, Logan (Kimberly) Luzader, Jason Luzader, Rachel (Ryan) Herdegen, Drew (Lauren) Wilson, Zachary Wilson; great-grandchildren, Kamille Luzader, Evan Luzader, Cora Luzader, Isabelle Herdegen, Elliott Herdegen, Violet Wilson, Lilah Wilson, Jadyn Wilson, Azarah Wilson; sisters, Mary Elsie Noblett, Nell Noblett Shumate; brother, Robert (Carol) Noblett; as well as nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlie and Rose Noblett; and husband, Charles D. Wilson.

The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at The Church of God of Prophecy 910 N. 10th St., Gas City, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Patsy's life will begin at 5:00 pm with Bishop David Morris officiating.

Burial will take place at Marion National Cemetery on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 10:00 am.

Memorial contributions may be directed to The Church of God of Prophecy 910 N. 10th St., Gas City, IN.
