Patti Overton Obituary

Patti Overton passed away on July 2, 2023 after an extended battle with Stage 4 cancer. She was 78 at her time of death. Patti was a retired IBM Executive Assistant who moved from Lexington, Kentucky to Atlanta in 1999. Soon after moving to Atlanta she met Jamie Overton with whom she was married 20 years until Jamie's passing in 2020..
Patti loved to travel. She was a member of a Northpoint Church small group where she met several good friends who were with her until the end. Patti is survived by her final soulmate Rod Willnow, sister Deborah Clark, son Darren Lake, and was preceded in death by her other son Alan Lake.
Patti's final cremation remains were arranged by McDonald and Son Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia were a registry is available on-line. There will be a private memorial service to be determined at a later time.
