I met Patty at the TO, as we were both doing Infusion´s. As I watched her there she was very personable like she had not a care in the world. Early on in my illness I was scared and did not know what to expect! I was amazed at how she handled everything that was happening to her.
I had also seen her at Norte Dame Catholic Church. Again as she was going through her illness she was poised and never worried about how she looked with the changes to her body.
Again I admired her tenacity on how she handled her everything. I truly gathered my strength from her, by mimicking her. She shared how very proud she was of her Son that was studying in Italy to become a Priest. I met him after Mass this last December. Your Mom was proud of you!!
I know she was looking forward to travel abroad to visit you. I don´t know if this happened? You see she wanted to Visit and was moving forward with those plans as if she wasn´t ill!
We had told each other once at treatments that we would pray for each other! I will continue to pray for the repose of her soul, may God give her rest and peace eternally.
My condolences to the family.
With Love,
Isabel Salinas

My condolences to Greg and her family. I had the privilege of getting to know Patti when Greg's mother was my roommate at Hilltop Village. She was a precious daughter in law to her and extended many kindnesses to me.
