Patty Lee Henry, age 83, of Tallahassee, FL, passed away peacefully at Westminister Oaks on November 29, 2025. She was born in Miami, FL, April 2, 1942, to Richard and Mauriece Roland.

In 1965, she married Captain James Patrick Henry and began her adventure as a military wife. Together they lived in eight different states before Pat retired and they settled in Tallahassee, FL.

Patty was a Proverbs 31 Woman; a wife of noble character. Patty was well known in high school, in college, and throughout her life as a humble and hardworking woman, committed to the Lord.

She served in many areas of every church she was a member of, including the last 35 years at Thomasville Road Baptist Church. She particularly enjoyed guiding those who came forward during altar calls, helping them make professions of faith, answering questions, and assisting them along their Christian journeys.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Pat, and her two sons Roland (Lynn) and Chad (Jana), and her six wonderful grandchildren: Logan (Shelby), Landon, Jackson, Meridith (Jacob), Melissa, and Lainie. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Mauriece Medlin.

The family welcomes flowers, or donations may be made to the Benevolent Assistance Fund at Westminster Oaks. The Henry family appreciates the kindness and care given to Patty during her stay at Westminister Oaks Health Center.

Visitation will be held at Bevis Funeral Home, 200 John Knox Rd, from 5pm to 7pm, Thursday, December 4. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 5, 10:30am, at Thomasville Road Baptist Church, 3131 Thomasville Rd. A private burial will follow at the Tallahassee National Cemetery.
