Originally from Romney, West Virginia, Patty met her husband Fred in Virginia while he was serving in the US Navy. They settled in Fred's hometown of Bloomfield, Connecticut, where they built a home filled with laughter and lasting memories.
Patty was the heart of her family, a devoted wife and mother, proud grandmother, and loyal friend. Fred passed away in 2017 after 56 years of marriage. She leaves her four girls; Kimberly, Kelly, Kristin, and Kerrie; nine grandchildren, Ryan (wife Victoria), Catharine, Hannah, Vincent, James, Joseph, Eli, Nathan, and Brynn, as well as her closest friend of over 50 years, Dee Otkowski.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to her devoted caregiver Debra whose compassion, tenderness, and presence brought peace and comfort to both Patty and her family. Sincere thanks also goes to Claudia and the AccentCare hospice team whose support and kindness meant so much during this time.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025, from 10 AM to 12 PM at Wintonbury Church in Bloomfield followed immediately by a service to celebrate her life.

Patty was a funny, loving, pleasant person to visit and always good conversation.
