Patty Roadhouse Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rentschler Family Mortuaries - Clark Gashaw Chapel - Osborne on Dec. 13, 2025.
Patty Sue (Williams) Roadhouse was born on June 22, 1946 in Downs, Kansas to Kenneth (Hoot) Williams and Gretta (Ritchenson) Muck. Patty was called home Monday December 8, 2025 surrounded by family.
A small town girl from Downs adapted well to farm life after she married Dean Roadhouse on January 18, 1964. She graduated high school in Colorado in spring 1964 after moving there following the wedding. They lived in Colorado for 4 years and had two children before moving back to Osborne, Kansas in 1968 to help farm with the Roadhouse family before establishing their own family farm.
Patty was an avid reader in her rare spare time. She was a wonderful cook and was an expert at preparing so many delicious meals to feed a houseful of family and friends. But most of all, Patty loved deeply and fiercely. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially cheering on Cade's racing and sporting events.
Patty was preceded in death by her husband Dean, parents, Hoot (Jackie) Williams and Greta (Joe) Muck, grandson Cody Schuber, brother Kenny Williams, brother-in-laws Jack Calderone & CW Mead.
She is survived by her children Troy Roadhouse of Osborne and Debi (Jason) Schuber of Wichita; grandson Cade Schuber of Wichita; siblings Barbara Calderone and Dede Mead; and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Patty is my sister- in-law but actually more like a sister to me. We shared so many fun times together camping boating and even fishing. She loved to play cards any kind of card games and was very good at all of them I could never seem to beat her in any of them. She was a great cook and we shared so many delicious meals in her kitchen. She was always there to help my mother when I couldn“t be. I will miss you so much, love you and rest in peace. Nelda
