Patty Rynearson, 74, of Winterset, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, at her home.
Patricia Ann was born November 13, 1950, in Winterset, Iowa, to Glenn and Betty (Libby) Stephenson. She was a 1969 graduate of Winterset High School and a lifelong resident of Madison County.
Following high school, Patricia attended beauty school and went on to enjoy her career as a hairdresser. On March 14, 1987, she was united in marriage to Jim Rynearson in Winterset.
Patricia was a member of the Peru United Methodist Church, the VFW Auxiliary, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She cherished spending time with her many friends and family, meeting her lunch group every Wednesday and casino trips every Thursday.
She is survived by her sons, Reese Millsap, Lance (Lindsey) Millsap, and Jesse (Melisha) Rynearson; brothers, Tony (Susan) Stephenson and Dan (Julie) Stephenson; grandchildren, Cole (Beth), Caleb (Allie), Jaxson, Tate, Noah, Brayden, Morgan, Case, and Griffin; great-grandchildren, Colbie and Breckyn; mother-in-law, Ester Rynearson; and brother-in-law, Rick Thornburg; and many nieces and nephews.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim; sons, Cole Millsap and Dustin Millsap; father-in-law, Jesse Rynearson; and sister-in-law, Kathy Thornburg.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Winterset Chapel. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 15th, at the funeral home, with burial to follow in the Peru Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a future designation.
