Dear ones in Christ;
How honored I was to have Mr. Adams as a study hall teacher for two periods each semester in my senior year, 1971, the centennial year. We couldn't talk, but we were allowed to come down to one corner of the auditorium and visit, quietly. Did we visit? No, we listened to Mr. Adams. Soon, nearly every student was down in the cormer; if you weren't, you missed a good education of "life". He will always be Mr. Adams to me, a title of respect. I was happy to get reacquainted when Mrs. Adams was at The Ambassaor for re-hab, and got to meet Gloria (?) who was at Lincoln High with my brother (Jim/Howard Taylor; 1965).
He was a wonderful man and will be missed by so very many whose lives he touched. I am honored to say he was a friend and teacher.
My deepest sympathies to all his family.
In God's loving hands. Susan Taylor

I meet Col Adams shortly after my arrival to Offutt AFB in 1976. He was a great mentor and always had encouraging advice that was very helpful in my Air Force Career.
