Rev. Paul G. Alberti

I always wondered what happened to Pastor Alberti. I grew up in Cross of Christ church. I was born in 1969 and I was his very first baptism. I always had an immense amount of respect for him. He will always be appreciated in my heart.

Way back in 1988 when the ELCA began, one of my joys as the Chair of the Board for Congregational Life was working with Paul and making more widely known the gracious hospitality of the Alberti's beloved Koinoia Center. Both Paul and Dorothy were great gifts to the church. They will be missed.

I am truly sorry for your loss. May the God of comfort bring you some peace during this difficult time.

I'm so grateful to God for the gift of knowing and learning from my dear friend and colleague, Paul. My love to all of Paul and Dorothy's beautiful family, as you grieve and as you celebrate their lives and incredible accomplishments in loving their neighbors and bringing peace on earth.

Early on in my employment with the Metro NY Synod, in 1973 - I was introduced to Pastor and his wife Dorothy - what a power house duo. They have truly served the church and the God they so truly believed in. May you be surrounded with love that all of us are sending to you all.
