Paul Dennis Alberts, 75, of Marion, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 at his home.
He was born in Spokane, Washington on November 8, 1948 to the late Joe and Marian Alberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Hawkins Alberts; and four siblings, Joanne Alberts Schell, Ric Alberts, David Alberts, and Jack Alberts.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Kimberly Williams and Dana Moore (Terry); four grandchildren, Jeremiah Frady (Amber), Zachary Moore (Cassi), Melissa Hoskins, and Matthew Moore (Amber); his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kinsley, Maverick, Zoey, Caylee, Kylie, Jace, Adelyn, Mason, Hunter, Emma, and Logan; and five surviving siblings, Gene Alberts (Pris), Tom Alberts (Sue), George Alberts (Jutta), Phil Alberts (Donna), and Doris Alberts.
Paul graduated high school in 1967 in Moscow, Idaho and attended Columbia University. He worked as a Computer Systems Analyst.
He loved the Lord, his wife, Gladys, of 31 years, and his family dearly. Paul especially loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He also had special fur babies, Popoe and Gizmo.
Paul was an avid golfer. He loved traveling on vacation with his family and attending periodic family reunions with the Alberts Family at Priest Lake, Idaho and other Northwest venues. He also enjoyed grilling for his family and friends.
The family will hold a celebration of life on Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at their home, 115 2nd Street, Marion, NC 28752.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals That Heal, c/o Clinchfield United Methodist Church, PO Box 429, Marion, NC 28752.
