Cremation Society of New Hampshire - BoscawenPaul Edward Andree, 87, passed away on September 15, 2025, in his home in Manchester, NH. He passed peacefully with his family around him. Paul was born on August 27, 1938, in New Eagle, Pennsylvania, the son of John Z. and Mary (Morse) Andree.
He was the husband of Gaye (Wallin) Andree. They were married on January 16, 1965, in Warren, Pennsylvania.
After graduating from Warren High School, he received his B.S. in Mathematics and Physics from Grove City College in 1962. Paul then went on to graduate from Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island. His naval travels took him on an icebreaker ship to Virginia and Washington D.C. In 1966, Paul accepted a job as a Computer Engineer/Systems Analyst for Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, New York, where he worked for 27 years. There, he and his team won an Emmy Award for Kodak for developing the key code on 16 mm film. After retirement from Kodak, he was the Operations Manager for a financial firm for 12 years. Following his retirement, Paul and his wife, Gaye, moved to Manchester in 2011 and Paul gave his time to substitute teaching in a local high school.
Paul was a dedicated member of his local congregation in whatever city he lived. He enjoyed teaching classes and leading groups. He and Gaye would often open their home to friends and strangers. He developed his talent and love for woodworking in his free time. His family and friends were the recipients of many of his woodworking products. These handmade heirlooms will be an enduring memory of his care and love. Paul also enjoyed creating spur-of-the-moment games and vehicles out of cardboard boxes, paper rolls, wheels and anything available, to entertain his grandchildren. For many years, Paul enjoyed playing the trumpet with others and for his own enjoyment.
