Paul Antell Obituary
July 28, 2025
Paul Antell, 85 years old, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025. He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Maxwell and Sonia Antell, and sister Sheila Antell.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Gale Cooper Antell, and his children Beth Antell and Lisa and Michael Lichtenberg. He also leaves two granddaughters, Lauren and Emily Lichtenberg.
A graduate of UConn School of Pharmacy, he and his wife owned Boswell's Drug Store in Greenwich, CT until his retirement.
Paul enjoyed woodworking, playing chess, scuba diving, and photography. He was an active member of Congregation B'nai Torah, Hadassah, and an ardent supporter of Israel.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Rd., Fairfield, CT. Interment will follow at Montefiore Cemetery, Springfield Gardens – Queens, NY.
Memorial donations may be made to: Hadassah www.Hadassah.org or Congregation Or Hadash (formerly B'nai Torah) www.orhadashct.org.

Sorry to read of Paul´s passing. We were in California and therefore couldn´t attend his funeral. I hadn´t realized his dad was our family physician!

To Gale and the Girls: Paul and I first met at Rodeph Shalom in Troop 122 Boy Scouts of America,way back in the early fifties. We all connected again at B'NAI TORAH. He was a fine GENTLEMAN and friend. May his memory live on in your hearts and thoughts.

So sorry for the loss of Paul. He & his wife, Gail,was a good friend of my mother-in-law Marie Melisi. She always used to tell me the stories of babysitting him and how his parents introduced her to lobster for the first time.
