Dear Ayers family, Roger & I are saddened by the loss of your father. My brother, Jim Swan, graduated from high school with your father and both went to Purdue. I´m your Aunt Carolyn´s sister Becky Swan Howe who grew up with your mother & knew her mother well. The loss of both parents is overwhelming but know you all were so loved by Cheryl & Jim ... meaning you´re all very blessed as love is the most important factor in families. Sending love to all of you.

One of my all time favorite people. We played high school football and baseball together. I have not seen him for a long time, but I have great memories of some very good times. Many of those fun times were not on the sports fields and were not always doing exactly what we were suppose to be doing, but they were unforgettable. I am sure this never changed, but nobody had a bigger laugh than Paul. Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed and you will always be P-dub to me. Sincerely, Ron McClughen

Glad to have known this very decent man from my days working at the Old Trails Building.
