Paul "Pete" Barton

Paul "Pete" Barton, 48 of Thornton, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at his residence. Paul was the son of the late Boyd and Mary Whitaker Barton. Surviving is his wife: Christina Campbell Barton; 1 son: Austin Paul Barton; 1 daughter: Angel (Logan) Fisher; 2 brothers: Kenneth Barton and Timothy Barton; 2 sisters: Nancy Sparkman and April Miles; 2 grandchildren: Connor Fisher and Marlee Fisher; special friends: Mack and Gladys Blair along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Paul was preceded in death by 1 brother: Tony Barton; 1 sister: Beverly Adams. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the Cedar Grove Old Regular Baptist Church with Danny Dixon, Jim Fields, and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Hiram Campbell Cemetery at Hallie, Kentucky.
