Paul Bergan Obituary

Paul Bergan

Hancock NH - Paul Julian Bergan, 71 of Oak Creek Colorado, passed away on August 28, 2023.

He was born on Dec.7, 1951 in Fargo ND. He was adopted by Clifford and Marian Bergan, his loving parents.

Paul had fond memories of being raised in North and South Dakota. He cherished his summers on his grandparents, aunts, and uncle's farms in Roseglen and Ryder, ND. It was the best of times with his cousins.

The family lived in Yankton, SD from 1961-1969. Paul loved living across the street from the Lewis and Clark Lake. He enjoyed the free rein of fishing, camping, and hunting. Cherished memories!

Upon high school graduation his family moved to Batavia, IL. He then attended Carthage College in Kenosha WI. He moved to Denver CO in the early 1970's and enjoyed life's experiences and working various jobs.

He moved to Tucson, AZ where he met his first wife. They moved briefly to Denver and were married soon afterwards. He adopted her girls, and a family was formed. This was a very proud and loving moment for him. They moved to Batavia, IL where he was introduced to the world of selling welding and safety supplies. He had found his true passion as a salesman.

They then relocated to Hancock NH in the late 1970's to accept a job with OKI Supply CO. His dream job, covering sales in all the New England states.

After his divorce, he met the love of his life Margo, and her two sons in 1989.They were married on August 24,1991. They blended their families and lived a beautiful life together. They enjoyed many travel adventures throughout the world and many winter vacations in Cozumel Mexico. It was their home away from home!

Paul continued to work for then OKI-Bering for 25 years until 2013 where he made lifelong friends .He retired shortly afterwards, and Paul and Margo made a big move to Oak Creek CO. The best move of their lives. Paul worked at FM Light and Sons in Steamboat Springs, enjoying his passion of sales, selling cowboy boots and hats.

He loved fishing and camping and did it as often as he could. The biggest passion of his life was spending time with family. Most especially his grandchildren!

His loving family includes; his wife Margo, daughters Karen Tatro (Steve), Kendra Bergan, sons Jeremiah Roiko, Jason Roiko (Alison); grandchildren: Nicole Allen (Chris),Garrett Tatro, Emma George, Oliver and Roux Roiko; sister-in laws, brother-in-law's and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
