Paul was one of the warmest and most loving people I have ever known. He always saw the good in people and his optimism was absolutely contagious. I will never forget the many fishing trips I was on with Paul, and the way he taught me to connect with nature. I pray that the Bergeson family's pain and sorrow will quickly fade, leaving only the sweetest memories of this exceptional, godly man.
Pie Jesu Domine,
Dona eis requiem sempiterman. Amen.

Condolences to the family of a terrific person. As my track coach at St. Charles High School he offered challenges and encouragement. What a treat it was to talk with him at our 50th class reunion! Godspeed Coach. Glenn Blomquist, Class of 1963

I was extremely fortunate to have witnessed the work of a true professional leader, educator, and classy mentor. I was a student at STC, class of 72, and also a colleague of Paul's when I was hired as a teacher and coach. That was a very special time to work with an amazing and special leader of young people. The last of the brothers to go. Uncle Paul will be sorely missed. Always there when you needed him with life advice and a soothing voice. Such fabulous memories we all have of this amazing man. I bet the celebration in heaven with all that have preceded him is amazing.
Hugs to all...

Many blessings to your family during this time. I remember Mr. Bergeson as my teacher! Upon our last senior day classroom before graduation he shook our hands and asked me if I will continue in education. I said yes, not knowing he meant, as a teacher! He truly had a full life and gave to us. ❤

Paul was one of the classiest and nicest AD's I ever came across in my 30+ years of coaching. Enjoy your new gig Paul.

Sorry to read about Paul's passing. One of my favorite athletic directors I ever came across in my 30+ years of coaching. Enjoy your new gig Paul.
