Paul D. Bojanac, 57, of Valencia, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at home with family.
Born on March 28, 1968, in New Brighton, PA, he was the son of the late Paul Bojanac and Dernetta (Mullen) Nelson.
A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Paul will be remembered for his friendship, humor, and ability to share Jesus with everyone he met. His towering presence was matched only by his boundless love and compassion for others.
Paul grew up in Los Angeles, CA, and attended Verdugo Hills High School. He later proudly served in the United States Army for several years on active duty before transitioning to the Army Reserves. After returning to the Pittsburgh area, Paul worked as a driver for Sysco Food Services and later as a lead at GetGo Car Wash. There, he became affectionately known as "the friendly car wash man who handed out "Jesus" to everyone he met."
On August 1, 1997, Paul married the love of his life, Tracy (Teresa) Eldridge, and together they shared 28 wonderful years. He was a devoted father to his daughter Haley and stepdaughter Dayna Long, and a cherished grandfather to Cameron and Ariana Pahlman. He is also survived by his stepfather Doug Nelson, stepmother Jodie Bojanac, brother John (Dawn), brother Mark Maier, niece Brittany, and nephew JD.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Chad.
A faithful member and employee of Crossway Community Church in Valencia, Paul's booming laughter, kind heart, and welcoming hugs touched everyone who knew him. His joy in sharing the love of Jesus will continue to inspire all who were blessed to call him friend.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Crossway Community Church, 109 Davis Road, Valencia, PA, for visitation on Thursday, November 13, from 4–7 PM, and Friday, November 14, from 4–5 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life service from 5–7 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
