Paul Butsko

Paul Joseph Butsko Jr., a beloved member of the community, passed away at the age of 79  at Brookdale Lakeview Crossing in Groveport, Ohio. He will always be remembered for his resilience, kindness, and dedication to his family and friends.

Born on September 20, 1944, in Columbus to his loving parents Paul and Ilona, Paul Joseph Butsko Jr grew up alongside his childhood siblings Rosemary, David, and Debi. He attended Bishop Hartley High School and later served in the Army Reserves with the 758 Light Maintenance Company at Ft Hayes Columbus Ohio.

In 1968, Paul Joseph Butsko Jr exchanged vows with Dorothy Ann Wonn at the St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, marking the beginning of a beautiful marriage. Throughout his life, he worked diligently as a maintenance mechanic at various establishments including Federal Glass, Smith Transfer, Rockwell, McDonnell Douglas, and Meritor. Paul was known for his strong work ethic and was an active member of a work union.

Outside of work, Paul Joseph Butsko Jr found joy in simple pleasures such as fishing and shooting guns. His love for the outdoors reflected his adventurous spirit and appreciation for nature.

Paul is survived by his son Michael, who will forever cherish their memories together. He also leaves behind grandchildren Vladimir, Dmitri, and Mila. His siblings David and Debi mourn his loss alongside his pet Coco.
