Paul R. Casano, 68, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 13, 2026 at the Boston Medical Center, South in Brockton. Born in Boston, son of the late Andrew and Mildred (Duffy) Casano, he was raised and educated in Randolph and was a graduate of Randolph High School, Class of 1975. Known as “Moose” to family and friends, Paul was a longtime resident of Randolph before living in Stoughton for several years and moving to Sharon in 2013. In 2021, after dating for many years, Paul married Rosemary Mazzaferro of Sharon.

Paul worked as an Auto Body Technician for many years at Montague Brown Auto Body in Quincy, and later at Kemperle in Framingham. He was well respected in the industry for his attention to detail and professionalism.

Paul was a proud American and celebrated and honored both Veterans and First Responders alike. He enjoyed exploring family roots and genealogy with his daughter and, in his free time, enjoyed working on cars and, especially, collecting model trains. He was dedicated to civic causes and was on the Randolph High School Class of 1975 Reunion Committee, the Blue Hill Vocational Technical High School Board and the Stoughton Fire Department Building Committee. Paul loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his beloved granddaughter Catherine.

In addition to his wife Rosemary Mazzaferro of Sharon, he is survived by his daughter Elizabeth C. Casano of Sharon and his granddaughter Catherine R.Casano who he lovingly referred to as Kitten. He was the brother of Richard Casano and Stephen Casano, both of NH and is also survived by his former wife, Lynne Casano of Stoughton, his father-in-law Gino Mazzaferro of Sharon and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his former in-laws Edmund and Lillian Welch.
