Paul B. Deery, 53, of College Hill, Easton, PA, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024, at his home.
Born March 15, 1971, in Jenkintown, PA, he was a son of Paul J. Deery, of Shippensburg, PA and Ceil M. (Wheeler) Deery, of North Wales, PA.
He and his wife, Merri Cuadra, would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on August 29, 2024.
Paul received a B.F.A. from Temple University, Tyler School of Art.
He owned and operated PM Landscaping for 25 years. Paul was an art teacher at Easton Area High School as well for several of those years.
Paul was an accomplished artist. He designed and built many sculptures in the Easton area, most notably Together We Stand, in Lower Hackett Park and Waterway on Karl Stirner Arts Trail. His landscaping and hardscaping artistry can be found throughout the area.
He also enjoyed sailing his Flying Scot sailboat with his first mate, and golfing with his regular foursome. Paul was an enthusiastic supporter of his sons Galen and Simon's music.
Paul was a founding member of Fathers of March and a member of Nockamixon Sail Club, Flying Scot Fleet.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Merri, are two sons, Galen Deery, of Easton and Simon Deery, of Nashville, TN; a brother, Mark Deery and his wife Debbie, of Breinigsville; his mother, Ceil Deery of North Wales, PA, his father, Paul J. Deery of Shippensburg, PA, two sisters, Michele Deery, of Easton, and Claire Plese and her husband Fred, of St. Louis, MO; his in-laws, Tomias Hinchcliff and Stephani Murdoch, Richard Cuadra and Madhura Cuadra; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
