Paul Dendorfer Sr., a respected family man and esteemed engineer, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on July 24, 1947, to the late Carl and Dorothy Dendorfer, he dedicated his life to his family, his work, and his country.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Irene, with whom he shared countless cherished moments. Together, they raised two admirable sons, Paul Jr. (Katie) and Craig, and treasured the joy brought into their lives by their grandchildren, Logan, Tristan, Gabriella, Brody, and Tessa. His brother, Mike (Loretta), their children Erin and Meghan, and grandchild Roselyn, hold fond memories of Paul's kindness and wisdom.
After serving in the US Navy, Paul became a valued engineer at Lockheed Martin, displaying an unwavering commitment to excellence. An active member of the Delmar VFW, he continued to exemplify the virtues of service and community.
Paul indulged his passions for golf, reading, playing cards, and bowling. He relished in spoiling his grandchildren, especially enjoying special times with his granddaughter Gabi.
To know Paul was to know love in its purest form. His life stands as a testament to the power of a loving heart, a sharp mind, and a generous spirit. He will be deeply missed but remembered fondly by his family, friends, and all who were privileged to know him.
