Paul Dennison Obituary
Paul, 67 years old, went to be with the Lord peacefully on January 12 surrounded by family. He was a resident of Ashtabula Ohio. Paul was born to Norma (Grove) Locker and Phillip Donzel Dennison in Canton, Ohio. He lived most of his life in and around northeast Ohio. He was a graduate of Tusky Valley high school (1977). Paul was proficient in many areas including carpentry, drywall, heating and cooling, welding and fabrication, and much more. He may be best known for his pontoon boat trailers and then his pontoon boats/houseboats. He started his own business in his garage in Mount Eaton in the mid 90s. Paul went to college for heating and cooling when he was 50. Paul was blessed with two sons Joshua (Kristen) Dennison and Justin (Hanna) Dennison and five grandchildren Finnigin, Hunter, Collin, Karmen and Lainey. Siblings include Phil Dennison, Perry Dennison, Paris (Pork) Dennison and was preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister Peg (Pigger) Lawrence. During Paul's teenage years he went to live with Argie & Kenny Cline and their family, Scott, Teri, Janine, Micki, Randy, Chris and Kevin. He truly enjoyed phone calls and visits with Argie (Mom) and Kenney (Dad). Paul was very creative, he loved to fish, draw, build/remodel and garden. He loved drawing mountain scenes with sunrises in the background. He had a great sense of humor which he instilled in his sons. He was very loved and will be sorely missed.
One fun story Paul loved and talked about often was in high school they had a mock election. He played Jimmy Carter. He enjoyed the role so much. He always bragged about how he went around and kissed all the girls! He had many similar stories about his numerous precarious situations.
Instead of donations, we would love to just hear your story or stories you have including Paul. He always made a special impact!
The family will receive friends to celebrate Paul's life on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Lebold-Smith Funeral Home in Bolivar.

My deepest & sincerest condolences. Doug was always the quiet one. But I carry great memories of going to there house on the summers I got to go and stay in Ohio for a few weeks with Aunt Patty. I remember 1 summer at Aunt Norma´s at the house that had a large front porch it was raining and we played for the longest time out in the rain and it was pouring like crazy. Oh but what fun we had. Simple things of life. Loved and sadly missed cuz Doug. May you be free of pain and fly free... your one of our Angels now. You earned it.
