Paul DeWitt Obituary
1952-2025
Paul J. DeWitt, 73, husband of the late Brenda (Ackell) DeWitt and father of Daniel P. DeWitt, died on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Danbury Hospital.
Mr. DeWitt was born in Newark, NJ, November 17, 1952, a son to the late Richard and Aurica (Liapis) DeWitt. He attended schools in New Jersey. A resident of the area for the past 35 years, Mr. DeWitt was the president and owner of Economy Printing and Warren Press of Danbury.
In addition to his son, Daniel P. DeWitt, he is survived by a brother Richard DeWitt, two sisters, Lisa DeWitt and Karen Klein, his brothers in law, Douglas Ackell and Kenneth Ackell, a sister in law Marllyn Kasper and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. DeWitt was predeceased by a brother in law, Edward Ackell.
Following the wishes of the deceased, there are no formal funeral services planned.

To the Dewitt Family:
Paul was a great guy. Me and him had a lot of laughs together. I miss him! Paul would do anything for anybody that was the type of guy he was. I hope he finds what he lost (his wife) in his afterlife. Because after her passing it really took the wind out of his sails. With that said I light this Candle in hope that it lights his way on his new journey and gives him the warmth of his family and friends. There are a lot of people left behind that miss you. Rest in Peace Paul Your job here is done...
