In Loving Memory of Paul H Dippel
Paul died peacefully on November 3, 2025. He was a loving and devoted husband to Karen Dippel for 62 years and a loving father to his 3 children Lauren Giuffre and "son" in law John, Paul Dippel Jr., Peter Dippel and "daughter" in law Stephanie. He always participated in all of his family's activities and was always ready to play games and do fun activities. Paul was also a loving and fun grandfather to his 4 grandchildren, John Paul, Danielle, Joshua and Audrey, whom he loved spending time with, and a loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his 2 brothers, Bill and David, and his one sister Evie. Paul was a devout believer in Jesus from the age of 15. The Lord's light was clearly reflected through his kind, gentle and loving character. He was never one to express anger or frustration, and always one to look on the positive side with words of encouragement, support and faith. Paul worked as a project manager at Merrill Lynch at the World Trade Center and retired June 2001, three months before 9/11. He was very artistic and creative and could fix or build anything. He helped build the first cabins at a christian boys camp at Northern Frontier Camp. Paul was an active member at the First Presbyterian Church of Flushing from age 15. He loved working with children at Church as the leader of a boys group, Christian Service Brigade and a Sunday School teacher for many years. He also served as a deacon, trustee, elder and played on the Church's softball team. Paul continued his friendship with his dear friends from First Pres' "youth group!" Paul was an avid Yankee fan and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
