Paul Dusch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home Inc. on Aug. 10, 2024.
Age 64, peacefully passed away Saturday morning with his family at his side. Born in Pittsburgh, Paul was the son of Margaret (Murray) and the late Joseph Dusch. Beloved husband and best friend to the late Maureen (Flinn). Caring father to Sara Ann (Eric), Katie Marie, and Cory Joseph Dusch. Loving Pap to his grandchildren: Georgie, Ryan, Layla, Vincent, Isabelle, Alina, Nicholas, and Gracie. He was an adored brother to Maggie, Jackie (Ben) Bazner, Linda (the late Tommy) Zajac, Darlene, Jimmy (Terry), Renee (Rich) Wetmiller, and sisters- & brother-in-law, Eileen, Kathy, Mary Jane, Patti (Dan), Helenann (Guy), Kay (the late David) & Bernie (Darlene). A favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his nephew Justin, niece Casey, mother-in-law Sally Flinn, and beloved brothers Joey, Tommy, and Michael.
Paul was a loyal friend and a selfless man. He would give you the shirt off his back. He loved being a Pap to his grandkids and loved his boy Risen. He was a big fan of Bob Seger and going to Friday Night Football games. He was always ready to entertain family and friends. You knew it would be a good night if "Party Paul" made an appearance. Everyone always loved Summer parties at Paul's.
Friends and family received on Tuesday August, 13, 2024 from 1-9 PM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home 2323 E. Carson St. Pittsburgh, PA 15203. Funeral Prayer Wednesday 9:00 AM, Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalbert Church, Mary-Queen of Peace Parish at 10:00 AM. Interment private.
