Paul Terry Ellett, 69, passed away in Toccoa, Georgia on July 25, 2025, after a brief illness.
Born on February 12, 1956, in Norfolk, Virginia, Paul moved to Savannah, Georgia in 1965, graduating from Windsor Forest High School in 1974. He then relocated to Northern Georgia to pursue higher education, earning an associate degree from Truett McConnell College in Cleveland, Georgia, in 1979. He received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Shorter College in Rome, Georgia in 1983.
Paul lived and worked in several places throughout his life, including Savannah, Georgia; Reston, Virginia; and South Florida, always staying close to family. He eventually returned to Northeastern Georgia, where he worked for many years at Fieldale Farms in Eastanollee, and looked forward to enjoying his retirement in the community he loved, Toccoa, Georgia.
Paul is survived by his brother, Bruce Dean Ellett of Springfield, GA; and his sister, Cheryl Ellett Logan of Morehead City, NC. He is also survived by three nieces—Ashley Ellett Mastin, Alexis Emilly Feliciano, and Stacey Brooke Logan as well as three great-nephews, and a great-niece.
He was a man who found joy in the simple things and will be remembered for his warm presence, sharp wit and his love of family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
To honor his wishes, there will be no visitation, memorial service or burial.
