Paul Falacco

Paul Falacco, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Kitty Hawk on October 31, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on December 17, 1949, in Gloversville, NY, Paul lived a life full of love, dedication, and service to his family and community.
A proud graduate of Gloversville High School, class of 1968, Paul furthered his education at Fulton Montgomery Community College. His career was marked by diverse experiences, including his work at Feuer Leather Manufacturing in Gloversville, NY, and as the proprietor of Falacco Catering. He also contributed his skills to the North Main Street United Methodist Church in Gloversville, NY, and later worked at Food Lion in Kill Devil Hills.
Paul's interests were as varied as his career. Family was central to his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He was an enthusiastic supporter of American Legion Baseball and a member of the Adirondack Bowling League. He faithfully attended North Main Street United Methodist Church. Paul found joy in auctions, boating, and lake living. He was passionate about catering and cooking, enjoyed woodworking, and was dedicated to walking at least five miles every day.
Paul was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Michael and Louise Falacco, and his sister, Mary Falacco Walter.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Paula Ann Rowley Falacco, and his loving daughters, Palma Michelle Falacco, Patrina Marie Falacco Chappelle (Kent Chappelle), and Patrice Marcella Falacco-Barnett (Michael Barnett). He was the proud "Papa" to his precious granddaughters, Charlotte Paige Falacco Chappelle, and Emily Louise Falacco Curtis. Paul also leaves behind his three sisters, Carol Falacco Swart, Marsha Falacco Jones (Richard Jones), and Marie Falacco Strauser, along with several nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 2:00 pm, at the home of his daughter, 102 Turtle Pond Court, Southern Shores, NC 27949. A celebration of Paul's life will take place in the spring of next year in his hometown of Gloversville, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Outer Banks Health Cowell Cancer Center or Adoration Hospice, Nags Head, NC, in memory of Paul Falacco.
