Paul and I met at Falls Green four years ago.

Paul had an undeniable passion for living life! His age was not a problem with him. He was always preparing for his next adventure.

When we would go to a restaurant, he would emphasize that he loved to go for the ambience! This meant more to him than the food. He did savor every sip of wine and taste of food.

I do believe the waiters and waitresses got to know us and scattered when we came in to the restaurant. He was talkative and he would kindly send them away, not being ready to order.

Paul was kind, sensitive, funny, and unpredictable!

Paul´s absence will be deeply felt and the world will be a little less brighter without him.

Rest in peace, Paul

Here are some photos of good pal and neighbor, Paul Fermoile. My brother and I originally met Paul at church several years ago. (We had Novenas said for him.) Paul helped us out on many occasions and we will miss his kindness. Here are each of us posing with Paul (me on St. Patrick's Day) and Paul at my brother's birthday last year. God bless you Paul. May you rest in peace!

Paul was well known in the Washington, D.C. area and beyond for his enthusiasm for outdoor exploration. A vigorous hiker and hike leader, he had a welcoming, chatty demeanor, befriending all in his path. Cheerful and generous, he was beloved by family and friends. He will be very much missed.
