Paul was one of those guys with a very special talent of inspiring others with his stories. We met Paul through the Amway business and fell in love with his leadership, his wife Nancy and their family.
There were many events where Paul and Nancy opened up their home for training, fellowship and a taste of Paul's homemade wine. Later in the night, it was time for his classic jokes.
One of the motivating lines he use to say that I still use to this day was, "Last year over 250 thousand 1/4 inch drill bits were sold, but not one person wanted a 1/4 inch drill bit, what they wanted was a 1/4 inch hole, but that was the tool it took to get it." Then he would explain how the business was our tool to get what we wanted.
I'm so sorry for the loss of a great man, but let it be known, he lives on in so many lives that he touched.
