Paul Gadomski, a cherished soul known for his loving, kind, and gentle nature, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, in Romeoville. Born on December 30, 1961, in the vibrant city of Chicago, Paul's life was a testament to the joy and laughter he brought to all who knew him.
A proud alumnus of Leo High School, Paul carried the spirit of his formative years throughout his life, embodying the values of his Catholic faith with humility and grace. His devotion to his religion was evident to all, especially in his admiration for Pope John Paul, a figure who inspired him deeply.
Paul's heart was ever-expansive, encompassing a profound love for his late wife, Marlene (nee Borawski), and their two daughters, Breann (Joe Bernth) and Katlynn Gadomski. He relished in the role of Papa to his granddaughter Aubree, whose presence brightened his days immeasurably. His siblings, Raymond (Cynthia) Gadomski, Denise (Bernie) Braun, and Mark (Dawn) Gadomski, along with his niece Hayley Braun and many other nieces and nephews, will remember Paul as a cornerstone of their family, a source of unwavering support and joy and laughter.
An avid Chicago Cubs fan, Paul's enthusiasm for baseball was matched only by his passion for football. His sense of humor shone brightest when he was playing jokes, a testament to his belief in the power of laughter. His interests were as varied as they were heartfelt-from his love for fish to his keen following of news and weather, Paul engaged with the world around him with keen interest.
His family was the center of Paul's universe, and he dedicated himself to creating a legacy of love and kindness. His dog Nia was not just a pet but a treasured companion who accompanied him through life's journey. Each moment spent with his loved ones was a treasure he held close to his heart. Paul Gadomski's story is one of warmth, generosity, and the simple joys of life. His absence will be profoundly felt, but the memories he leaves behind will continue to inspire and comfort those who were fortunate enough to know him. As we say goodbye to Paul, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a spirit that will continue to guide us in the days to come.
