Of Cheektowaga, NY; age 84. Beloved husband of Cynthia (nee Orlowski) Gagliardi. Father of Karen (Rich) Snyder, Paul (Sandra) Gagliardi and the late Lisa Gagliardi. Cherished grandfather of six grandchildren. Loving son of the late Ermanno and Flavia Gagliardi. Dear brother of Carl (Cheryl) Gagliardi. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 4th at 11:00 AM at Fourteen Holy Helpers Church, 1345 Indian Church Road, West Seneca. Please assemble at church. Paul was a retired Guidance Counselor at Depew High School, very active in the Teachers Union, Section VI High School Football Officiating and Girls Basketball. He is being inducted in December to the Section VI Hall of Fame for serving for over 50 years as a NYSPHSAA Official. Paul was able to spend quality time at his cabin these past few months. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, contributions may be made in Paul's memory to any Section VI Sports program. Dear Gagliardi family, please accept my deepest sympathy and sincerest prayers. I had the pleasure of knowing Paul for over 25 years through officiating high school football. He was always the consummate professional and true gentleman on and off the field. It was always a pleasure to be in his company and have him as a friend! God Bless.

I was deeply saddened today to hear of Paul's passing. He was a true outdoorsman, and I will always be grateful for the time he took to share his time, knowledge, hunting and woodsman skills with me and so many others. His patience, wisdom, and love of the hunt left a lasting mark on me, and I carry many of his lessons26th me to this day. More than his skill afield, what always stood out was his devotion to his family and the way he carried himself with kindness and integrity. I am thankful to have known Paul, and I will hold his memory close with respect and gratitude. My heartfelt condolences. May his family Abdullah friends find comfort in the love for life that he shared and the many lives he touched. I'm going to miss seeing him for coffee at Market in the Square every now and then. See you at the hunting camp in the sky old friend. Good blessm RIP Paul.
