Paul Habib

Paul James Habib Sr, a cherished soul known for his giving heart and friendship, passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on November 12, 1960, Paul's life was a testament to the love of Christ. A proud graduate of Central High School's class of 1979, Paul carried the spirit of his youth throughout his life, infusing joy and laughter into the lives of those around him. His career as a truck driver for FedEx was more than just a job; it was an extension of his community, where he formed lasting friendships and was respected by all his coworkers for his dedication and good nature. Paul's heart was ever-expanding, filled with love for his family. He was a loving husband to Wen Fang Yang (Elaine), a caring son to his mother(with him now in glory) and father (still living),a good brother to Judy Rodriguez and David Habib, and a father to Angela and Paul Habib Jr, whom he loved dearly. Beyond his family, Paul was a friend to many. His ability to connect with people from all walks of life was unparalleled, and his presence was a comfort to anyone fortunate enough to know him. His interests were as varied as his friendships, he loved taking care of his home(inside and out) but above all, he loved the simple pleasures of life, such as spending time with his beloved dog, Skipper, who was a great comfort to him at the end. He watched all sports and stayed politically informed. Paul's impact on the world was as profound as it was understated. Even as he was going through chemo he wanted to go help the people of NC after the floods. As we say goodbye to Paul James Habib Sr, we celebrate a life lived with unbridled concern for others and unwavering love. His memory will be a treasure to all who knew him, and his spirit will continue to inspire us while we wait to join him. There will be a grave side burial held for the Paul by his loving family.
