Paul W. Hendershot, Jr., 71, New Matamoras, OH, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Born in New Martinsville, WV, on January 12, 1954, he was the son of the late Paul W. Hendershot, Sr. and Emma Mae Steele Hendershot. He was a diesel mechanic for Carper Wells Service for 30 years. He loved fishing, hunting anything outdoors, making bird houses, and watching squirrel.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Frankie Loy Hendershot; three children, Carol (Derek) Wright, Sheryl (Jerry) Jones, and Paul (Sarah Nedley) Hendershot, III; seven grandchildren, Derien (Eli) Totman, Devon (Shelby) Wright, Destiny (Christian) Wright, Josiah, Emma, and Gunner Jones, and Jaylyn Hendershot; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no service. Visitation will be Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV. An online guest register is available at www.ingramfh.com.
