Paul Leon Hettwer III, 81, of Broken Arrow, passed away on November 22, 2022. He was born June 19,1941 in Kansas City, Kansas, to Dorothy Juanita and Paul Franz Hettwer. He moved to Lubbock, Texas when he was around 10 years old and then to Tulsa in 1954. He graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1959. He married his high school sweetheart, Reba, in March of 1960. They had one daughter, Deborah. He worked at Canteen for 35 years as the head of accounting. Paul participated in boy scouts and karate in his younger days. He enjoyed all kinds of music, especially The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, and other music from the 70's. He loved old cars. He appreciated the beauty of pretty sunrises and sunsets. He spent a lot of time with the 59er's doing things such as going to different museums, having their annual hayride, day in the country, going on an amtrack trip, and mostly not behaving with Kay. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Michele Sykora. He is survived by his wife Reba, daughter Deborah Baker and her husband Danny, grandchildren Tricia Smith and her husband Johnny, Nicholas Baker, and Kristina Baker, and great granddaughters Gentry, Locklyn, Shay, and Karter Smith. Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 3:00 at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The family invites you to gather after the service for light refreshments and memory sharing.
