Paul R. Horn

Paul Richard Horn, 80, of Mount Solon, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at his home.
He was born on October 15, 1945 and was a son of the late Joseph C. and Margie Mae (Vint) Horn.
Paul graduated from Buffalo Gap High School. He was a farmer and greatly enjoyed serving Deerehorn's Homemade Ice Cream. He served his country in the National Guard.
Paul was united in marriage on August 7, 1965 to Karen (Sheffer) Horn, who preceded him in death on December 26, 2023.
Paul is survived by three sons, Curtis (Tina) Horn, Tracy (Jennifer) Horn, and Ricky (Audrey) Horn; a brother, Charles Horn; nine grandchildren, Brandon (Gracen) Horn, Bryce (Kelsey) Horn, Katie Horn, Megan (Jesse) Gilliam, Makayla Horn, Roxanna Horn, Riley Horn, Michael (Eden) Carper, and Danial (Margo) Shaver; six great grandchildren, Dawson Horn, Gabe Horn, Calvin Gilliam, William Shaver, Trenton Carper, and Rylan Payne; favorite niece, Kim (Tom) Nixon and nephew, Chuck (Jill) Horn.
Friends may sign the register book and pay their respects on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 10:00 Am to 5:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service in Bridgewater.
A memorial service celebrating Paul's life will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 5:30 PM at Mt. Olive Church, 9148 Rawley Pike, Rockingham, VA with Rev. Steve Wingfield officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oak Hill Cemetery, c/o Doug Horn, 797 Oak Hill School Road, Mt. Solon, VA 22843.
