Paul Jacobi was a true friend and compatriot. He served as mentor and a gathering point for parliamentarians not only in Virginia, but nationally as well. Paul was recognized for his outstanding humanistic qualities, career accomplishments and his local, state and national achievements. Paul was held in high esteem by his peers and honored by his associates for his contributions and achievements, which earned him the VSAP’s most esteemed award of Lifetime Achievement Award.

Paul, thank you for your leadership in Toastmasters District 66. Your dedication to your fellow toastmasters as you showed us what "Leadership" is all about. Your support of the rest of us as we faltered in our work in leadership roles was faultless. I am proud to record that our district now has more than twice the number of clubs we had when you were District Governor. Gene Periman, a fellow PDG (Past District Governor).

Thank you for working with me. We met the same day my daughter was born. You are indeed a man of character and accomplishment.

Through example, Mr. Jacobi taught more than the rules of Parlimentary Procedure, he instilled a sense of honor and respect due all people. A fine man of sound principles, he was always willing to help, answer questions, and help steer you in the right direction. My sincere condolences to the family of a man who "walked the walk and talked the talk."

Dearest Gramps, I hope you are resting in peace now. You have touched so many lives, served your family, community, and country with such dignity and honnor. You will be missed here on earth, but I take peace in knowing you with Granhoney and Daddy. Please watch over me and Dawn, and If I live forever I will still be loving you.
