Paul Douglas Jamieson, 91, died on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at his home in Cedar Falls, surrounded by his family.
He was born on October 30, 1934, in Waterloo, IA, the son of Franklin "Milton" and Edyth (Septer) Jamieson. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1954 to 1957. On September 20, 1958, he married his "beautiful wife," Lorraine Blum. He was employed with John Deere, retiring in 1993. Paul and Lorraine moved to Bucyrus, MO, after his retirement. They resided there for 26 years before returning to Iowa in 2019.
Paul was known as "Doug" to many. He was a faithful member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of the Cedar Valley while residing in Iowa, and the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Mountain Grove and Mansfield, MO, while residing in Missouri. Doug loved to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone he met and invite them to church.
Paul is survived by his children, Darla (Jim) Olson of Cedar Falls, IA, Brian (Robin) Jamieson of Arkansas, and Keith Jamieson of Denver, IA; grandchildren, Aaron (Angie) Olson, Aric Olson, Alex (Izumi) Jamieson, and Shane Cochran; great-grandchildren, Michael, Nathan, Chad, Ryan, Kira, Marisa, Karina, and Kayla; siblings, Catharyn Marquart, John D. Jamieson, and James "Phillip" Jamieson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clyde and Wayne "Michael" Jamieson; and sister, Dona French.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls, with visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, December 12th, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial at the Garden of Memories in Waterloo.
