Paul Richard King, 61, of Roebuck, South Carolina passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at his residence.
Richard, as he was affectionately known, was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the son of Mary Marlene Splawn King and the late Paul Houston King. He was a graduate of Dorman High School. Richard was a true outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends. He enjoyed listening to country music and Hank Williams Jr was his favorite artist. He will be remembered for his keen personality and his jokes. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his many memories are his daughter and son-in-law: Morgan and Jake Watt; his loving mother: Marlene King; a sister: Sylvia Jennings; two nieces: Paige Jennings and Christy King; two great nieces: Jessica and Hope Bridwell; and a great nephew: Coltyn Cash.
The family would like to cordially invite you to a visitation to honor Richard’s life held between 4:00 –6:00 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
