Paul William Kleinschmidt, 64, of Plattsburgh, New York, passed away on March 12, 2026 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY after a brief illness. He was born in Plattsburgh on August 11, 1961 the son of Ludwig Kleinschmidt and Marilyn (Coon) Dumas.
Paul was most recently employed at Schonbek Lighting in Plattsburgh.
He is survived by his father, Ludwig and Barbara Kleinschmidt; as well as many close friends. Paul was predeceased by his mother, Marilyn and Robert Dumas; his brother, Dodd Kleinschmidt.

Paul will be laid to rest at a later date at Riverview Cemetery in Chazy, NY.
