Paul "Skip" Kover

Paul J. "Skip" Kover, 65, of Amherst, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on November 10, 2025. He was born on May 6, 1960, to the late Paul and Lillian (née Gombos) Kover.

He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a loving grandpa, roles that brought him his greatest joy and purpose. A graduate of St. Peter Chanel High School and the University of Toledo, Skip built a respected career in pharmacy law enforcement, where he served others with professionalism, integrity, and dedication.

A faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst, Skip lived his beliefs through kindness, generosity, and service. He was honored to serve as a Eucharistic Minister, sharing his faith and devotion with his parish community.

Skip was a lifelong Cleveland sports fan-faithful through every season-and found happiness in life's simple pleasures, like hearing the waves crash along Lake Erie or spending summers at Plymouth Shores surrounded by family and friends. His love for animals was unwavering throughout his life, and his charismatic spirit made everyone he met feel like a friend. He found appreciation and joy in life's little moments, always grateful for the world around him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Jan (née Tschudy) Kover; daughter Nicole Mueller (Lee); son Paul Kover (Paige Farmer); grandchildren Margot Mueller, Eric Farmer, and Johnathan Farmer; sister Diane Henry; and nephew David Henry.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 5–7 PM at Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, Ohio. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 1 PM at St. Joseph Cemetery Committal Shelter in Amherst.
