Paul P. Krebs
Rochester: March 7, 2024 at age 95. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years, Rosalind Krebs; his beloved 19-year-old grandson, Alex Hendry; parents, Julius and Lina Krebs; sisters, Lucie Weinstein and Hilda Zimmer. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Amy Oppenheimer) Krebs & Amy Krebs; grandchildren, Talia & Adin Krebs-Oppenheimer & Max Hendry; nieces, nephews and friends.
Paul was a long-time resident of Spencerport and was a respected cattle dealer owning, with his cousin, Krebs Brothers in Spencerport. He was an active member of the Spencerport Lions Club where he served as treasurer. Paul and his wife were avid square dancers with the Cloverleaf Squares.
Paul will be remembered by friends and family as someone who loved to laugh. Though he had a very difficult childhood in Nazi Germany, he loved life in the US, and especially in Monroe County. He could be counted on to drive for hours to attend a birth, wedding, funeral, or other event he was invited to. Even if he got lost, he arrived with a hearty smile.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday March 11, 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Mount Hope Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the main entrance to the cemetery (across from the Distillery Restaurant) at 11:15 AM. The family will receive friends at Temple B'rith Kodesh, 2131 Elmwood Ave on Monday March 11, 2024 from 1-3 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity in his memory.
