Paul Lindberg, 84, of Cranston passed away on April 17, 2023 at RI Hospital. He was married to Carol Thompson Lindberg for 55 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Harold and Mary (Falconer) Lindberg. He was an optician for 35 years before retiring. Paul proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. He also volunteered at Roger Williams Park Zoo and was a member of Spring Green Memorial Church for over 70 years.
Paul was an honorable, trustworthy, stand-up guy. Always with a smile, a joke or some wisecrack response. He was strong and compassionate and easy to turn to for advice.
Besides his wife, he leaves 2 sons, Greg (Christine) Lindberg of Foster and Mark (Jessica) Lindberg of West Greenwich, 4 grandchildren, Kayleigh, Jack, Cameron and Leah. He was the brother of David (Arlene) Lindberg and Kenneth (Jane) Lindberg.
Paul continued his gift by donating his body to Warren Albert School of Medicine at Brown University. He will be remembered in a Memorial Service to be held at 4pm on April 29th at Spring Green Memorial Church, 1350 Warwick Ave, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 2 to 4 pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Spring Green Memorial Church, 1350 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02888

As we grieve the loss of our friend Paul, Orion and I fondly remember his gift to him each year on his birthday. He is now 21, and is very saddened by his passing.
He will be remembered for his kindness, and will remain in our hearts forever.
