"Tall Paul" was a gentle giant - a dear friend who will be so missed for his sweet smile and generous heart. Our first memory was that of introducing ourselves to Paul and Karla when they moved to our street. Paul often stopped by when walking Ginger or driving in and out of our street past our home.
We became fast friends, and spent most holidays together since our families live out of state. He was fun, full of life and loved an adventure. You could always count on Paul to keep the mood light and to induce a laugh into any conversation. He often quipped funny sayings from the shows he loved most, like Leave It to Beaver, The Andy Griffith Show, and The Beverly Hillbillies among others, to make us laugh.
Paul was a good friend who treasured his wife, Karla, his children and grandchildren, his friends, and his dog Ginger. He loved his adventures at golf, softball and bike rides to local farm markets to pick up the freshest collard greens, watermelon, and strawberries which he generously shared. He will be truly missed and fondly remembered.
