Dr. Paul Samuel Lyda

On behalf of the entire Berea College community, I write to mourn the loss of a beloved Berea alum. I send sincere condolences from 21,000 Berea College alumni. With deepest sympathy, Chad Berry, Vice President for Alumni, Communications and Philanthropy

Paul was more like family than a friend. The Paige family loved him dearly and will miss him greatly.

My best friend during elementary and high school. He always loved the Lord and remained stalwart in his faith. My love to his precious family.

I so remember my classmate at A.C. Reynolds as one of the kindest, sweetest & caring one in my class of 1965. My sincere prayers to his wife, children & grandchildren. I know I will be there in heaven with him thru eternity.
