Paul T. Matonis

Paul was a very good and dear friend to my brother Mark, they had known one another for many, many years and remained friends until Mark's death in 2021. That is when my family and I realized just how good a friend Paul was, he stepped forward and became the executor of Mark's estate, as any of you, who have ever taken on this "job" know, it is a lot of work. During this process I spent a good bit a time with Paul and found he was indeed a very special, kind and talented man! The kindness he showed my family did not go unnoticed and we are forever grateful. I am sad to know I will never again receive one of his Christmas song videos! Paul was such a wonderful man and I know he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Let his light continue to shine in your memories of him!

Paul was my trusted advisor and accountant for 25 years. He was always quick to smile and we would talk more about family, catching up on the kids than about taxes during our visits. My deepest sympathy and condolences to his Pam and the girls. I am so very sorry, he will be missed.

I met Paul through business accounting and taxes but over the years Paul became a friend. I never saw Paul at the office when his bicycle was not also parked on the porch. Sue and I would sometimes run into Paul bicycling around the town while we were also bicycling. I will always remember his love of bicycling, his beautiful photos he took of owls, his music, and his positive spirit. The world is diminished by not having Paul in it. I will miss him.

Paul will always be one of the most selfless people that my family and I have ever known. We will always be forever grateful to Paul and Pam for the love and support that they have shown throughout the years. God bless you Paul and may you forever rest in peace. Susan and Milt Berger

Our hearts go out to Pam and the family at this terrible time of loss. We knew Paul through taxes. He was always great but was exceptionally helpful with some complex tax issues in recent years and he was always there for us. BUT he was most memorable for being an exceptionally special human. He was kind enough to share his Christmas music with us in recent years. He exuded joy and energy in every encounter. We will miss him terribly. We are so so sorry for your loss

I knew Paul through music and taxes. I think about him playing Bob Dylan and Lucinda Williams songs in the song circle. He created a wonderfully inclusive and supportive musical community. He found such joy in music. But I think his biggest joy was his family. It always brightened my day to hear him talk about his family, and to see the love, respect and kindness that Paul and Pam shared. I am blessed to have known Paul. I will miss his welcoming smile and open heart. Sending my deepest condolences to Pam and their family.

Asma and I were so sorry to learn today of Paul's passing. I spoke to him at the hospital just a couple of weeks ago and knew that he was fighting an uphill battle. We are so glad that Paul and Pam joined our July 4 celebration this year, where Paul share his musical talents with our guests. Paul will be sorely missed by all, and our sincere condolences go to Pam and their daughters.

We are so saddened by Paul´s untimely passing. I met Paul through a BNI referral group and soon became good friends. Paul was always positive and ready to help anyone in need. Paul took over our tax preparation two years ago and was so easy to work with. I admired his dedication to biking and his love of Fort Collins. Our condolences to the family. Dave & Carol Thompson

So sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Paul through music and tax prep. When I stopped doing tax returns, Paul was the only person I referred my clients to. He was a kind and honest man and he will be missed.

Pam, Megan, Melissa, and Lisa, my heart is crying for you, and I'm sending prayers for healing your pain. It was quite a jolt today to read that Paul had died. I'll always remember his quiet smile and dancing eyes when he watched the kids' antics. Paul was a kind and truly lovely man, and I feel blessed to have known him.

Sorry for your loss. Paul was always so very friendly when he would enter the office. He would say your name like he really cared about you, speaking to everyone with such joy in his voice.
