Paul McFann, 87, of Topeka, passed away on June 16, 2025 at Lexington Park Assisted Living.
He was born on October 31, 1937 to Howard and Ione (Stead) McFann near Reading, KS. He graduated from Olivet High School. He went on to get his Business Associates degree from Clarks Business School.
Paul worked for Highway Oil for over 50 years. He was a vice president at Highway Oil and he also became partner in an oil company.
Paul faithfully enjoyed serving others. He has been a member of The Gideons International for 35 years. He was an active member of Topeka First Assembly of God church. He taught Royal Rangers for many years, drove the van on Sunday’s, was a board member at both Faith Assembly of God and First Assembly of God. He volunteered as a grandpa at Royal Family KIDS, a camp for children in foster care, for 26 years. He also volunteered at Habitat for Humanity as bookkeeper for approximately 10 years.
March 17, 1961, he married Mary Elizabeth McFann (McClurg). Paul and Mary lived in Topeka, Kansas.
Paul is survived by his sister, Loranah Swank and his daughters: Cherie (George) Braaten, Rhonda (Rick) Trupp, Elizabeth (Calvin) Wright, Paula (Anthony) Thompson; Grandchildren: Taylor (Aaron) Matthews, Dallas Wright, Morgan Trupp, Crystal (Wyatt) Prall, Samantha (Matt) Elder, Hailey Trupp, Aubrey (Chris) Key, Britton (Hunter) Thompson, Caydon Thompson,
Greatchildren: Nathan Key, McKinley Key, Malakai Matthews, Aaliyah Matthews, Lainey Key, Landyn Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary McFann, his parents and his brother, Ralph McFann.
Visitation will start at 10:00 am, the memorial service will begin at 11:00 am, Saturday June 21, 2025, at Topeka First Assembly of God, 500 SW 27th Street. Interment will immediately follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka.
