Mr. Paul Reinhard Mennenoh, age 94, of Audubon, IA, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the Exira Care Center, Exira, IA. Paul Reinhard Mennenoh was born on January 25, 1931, in Audubon, IA, the son of G. Reinhard and Rose (Heuss) Mennenoh. Paul attended the Audubon County Schools and graduated with the class of 1949.

He served on active duty in the United States Army from May 2, 1952, through 1954. On August 7, 1954, when he was honorably discharged. Paul was united in marriage to Bonnie J. Ludden. To this union, three children were born: Karen, Philip, and Tom. Paul accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior very early in his life, and his faith was evident in everything he did. After their marriage, Paul and Bonnie settled in Audubon County, raised their family, and farmed their entire working life. They are members of the Faith Community Church in Audubon.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, G. Reinhard and Rose Mennenoh; parents-in-law, Sherman J. and Ada Ludden; as well as his brother, Eugene Mennenoh, and his sister-in-law, Linda Mennenoh.

Paul is survived by his wife of 71 years, Bonnie Mennenoh of Exira, daughter Karen Mayrhofer and her husband, Hermann, of Vienna, Austria; son Philip Mennenoh and his wife Eunice of Audubon, IA; son Tom Mennenoh and his wife, Virginia (Ginger) of Audubon, IA; grandchildren Petra Mayrhofer and her husband Shad Potter, Sonja Mayrhofer and her husband Jared Long, Amanda Arnold and her husband Mark Arnold, Brandon Mennenoh, Cameron Mennenoh, his wife Jessica Mennenoh, and Dustin Mennenoh, and great-grandchildren Ava Potter, Charlotte and Thomas Arnold, Ellie and Jakob Long, Hudson and Kellan Mennenoh.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Faith Community Church in Audubon, with Rev. Logan Matenaer officiating. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon. Visitation with the family present at the Church on Saturday from 10 am until the time of the service. A luncheon will follow the committal service at the St. Patrick's Parish Hall in Audubon.

In place of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Mennenoh Family in memory of Paul to be designated at a later date. They may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 201, Audubon, IA 50025. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home of Audubon.
