Paul Mitchell, 72, passed away on June 29, 2025, in Ft. Worth, TX.
Paul is survived by brother James Mitchell and sister Bobbie Johnson. In addition, niece Janina Johnson and nephews Darrin Johnson, Aaron Mitchell, Matthew Mitchell and Adam Mitchell. Sister-in-law Anita Mitchell and brother-in-law Gene Johnson. His is also survived by three great nieces and six great nephews.
Paul is preceded in death by his Father and Mother, William (Bill) Mitchell and Wanda Mitchell.
Paul's desire was for a private remembrance service for immediate family.
Paul had many interests in his life, including astronomy He made trips within and outside the United States, viewing and photographing solar eclipses. He was an avid photographer and bird watcher. He loved being near the ocean and lived several years along the coasts of Florida and Texas. While living along the Texas coast he liked to video and share with friends the launch of rockets by SpaceX not far from his home. Paul loved watching sports, but most especially soccer. He always enjoyed watching his nieces and nephews play sports.
He spent almost his entire working career at First State Financial Advisors, where he oversaw accounting and served as Treasurer for the company.
Paul enjoyed his life, loved (and was loved by) his family, and will be missed dearly.
