Paul David Page

Mr. Paul David "Bub" Page, 74, of Valdese died Wednesday December 3,2014 at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Valdese, after a brief illness . Paul was born June 17, 1940 in Burke County, a son of the late Garland and Ethel Rae Jones Page. He was retired as a healthcare CNA from Broughton Hospital. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working his yard and building birdhouses and furniture in his woodworking shop. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew, David Mabrey. Surviving are his daughter, Kimberly Page Pastuszka and husband Stanley of Ellijay, GA, sons, Terry Page and wife Emily of Jonesboro, GA and Larry Richardson and wife Laura of Locust GA. Also surviving are one brother, James (Jim) Page and wife Nancy of Valdese, one sister, Linda Mabrey and husband John Wayne, of Connelly Springs, six grandchildren, Brenton, and Katie Pastuszka, Cali, and Maddi Page, Liam and Lyla Richardson and one great-grandchild, Jaxon Yarbrough. Graveside Services for Paul Page will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday December 6, 2014 at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Valdese, with Rev. Leonard Lindsey officiating.
