Paul Perkins, age 79, passed away on December 13, 2024. Born on December 27, 1944, in Edna, Kentucky, he was the son of Andy and Zona Perkins.
Paul is survived by his daughters, Shanan Grisson and Jamie Barnes, and his grandchildren: Jessey Pelsor, Maddix Grisson, McKade Grisson, and Maysen Grisson. He is also survived by his siblings: Linda (Phil) Huber, Connie Perkins, Marian Perkins, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his siblings Cledis Perkins, Ronnie Perkins, Arnold Perkins, and Juanita Norman.
A proud Navy veteran, Paul made significant contributions through his service and was an active member of the National Muzzleloading Rifle Association and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). His passion for classic cars was evident in his pride for his 1953 Ford pickup and 1965 Falcon, which he showcased at various car shows. He enjoyed participating in pre-Civil War reenactments and cherished the memories of deer hunting in his youth.
Paul was a devoted father and grandfather, deeply cherished by his family. A dedicated Christian, he held strong to his religious beliefs throughout his life.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Mueller Funeral Home, located at 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. The service will follow at 11:30 AM, with burial at West Chester Township Cemetery, where he will receive military honors.
Paul Perkins will be remembered for his dedication to family, his service to his country, and his passions that enriched his life.
